Many Christian families decide to bring animals as pets into their home. For a child, this can be an exciting and challenging experience at the same time. The parents will need to take the proper amount of time to explain to the child how it should act around the new addition to the family to promote a close bond and be safe.
With dogs, a small child can be a great play friend, but it is important for the child to understand the boundaries of behavior with the dog. The ears should not be pulled and aggressive movements could create an unsafe condition if the dog becomes angry.
