Many of the Christian teaching focus on stories from the Bible or other religious aspects, but there are also examples of Christian web-pages that use the religious angle to help children learn other information. One of these was the kids-teens.org page about the Christian alphabet. It used a simple rhyme to help children learn the alphabet in a Christian context. The short poem is as follows:
Although things could be better
Because of all the pain and trials
Christ helps us continue to thank him.
Don’t start blaming
Even when it doesn’t go your way
For there is a light at the end of the tunnel
God is waiting there for you
His wisdom will teach you
In all your times of doubt
Just remember that God loves you
Keep hope in your heart
Living with Christ is easy
More than without
Nobody will ever lose sight
Of his glory and love
Praying will help you
Quit having bad thoughts
Rejoice in the glory
Start each day with a prayer
Thank him each and every day
Until you meet him in person
Value his love and grace
When the road is at the end
Xcellence waits in heaven
Yes, God will be waiting and
Zion will bring eternal love.
This rhyme was made many years ago and countless numbers of children have used it to better learn the alphabet. A full explanation of the Christian alphabet song and its meaning were found on kids-teens.org and it was explained in a way that any child could understand. There are other similar types of songs and techniques that were invented that use the Christian theme to help a child learn educational basics. In following these lessons, a child would be better prepared and able to learn with more speed and better levels of knowledge retention.
