The Story Behind the Picture!
My name is Renee the webmaster of "Christian Links for Kids and Teens".. I work at Valley Imaging and one of our patients came in and was giving me her insurance card! and I noticed this picture in it and was not sure what it was a picture of. So, of course I asked her! Here is her story as she told me on Oct. 26, 1999.Your Comments below:Her name is Donna and she lives here in town. About 50+ years ago she was in Sidell, Ill (not sure if that is correct), they were having a really bad storm. After the storm her friends mother was looking at the sky with Donna and her friend. Her friends mother took some pictures of the stormy sky. After she went to have the film developed she was amazed by what she saw. Donna loved the picture so much that her friends mother gave it to her. She has had it in her wallet all these years. She forgot it was there until I noticed it and asked her what it was. Of course, I thought that it was a wonderful picture and asked if I could take it home and scan it in our computer and then send it back to her and of course she said yes!
UPDATE TO PICTURE: I also would like to say I have this picture and it is on Kodak film. I do believe this is a real picture. But, I have been surfing the net lately and came across this website http://breadsite.org please visit it and let me know what you think about this picture and that website. I have emailed the webmaster of that site and this is what he said "The picture was taken on the west coast some time ago. My pastor has the original picture. T. L. Osborn in his book "The gospel according to T. L. and Daisy Osborn" has a very similar picture. His picture I estimate was in the mid to late 60's. His was taken during an outdoor evangelistic crusade - ten of thousands of people saw the image and the picture was taken. It is very very similar to the one we have on the sight, but they are different pictures taken on different continents and in different decades."

I know that it is not a picture of Jesus...because when He appears
again..."Every Eye Shall See Him" and not just someone taking a picture after

11/2/99 - I think it is an angel watching over the people of the area to see if
the storm hurt anyone. I think it is some proof that we have an awesome

11/15/99 - We each see something different some see an angel some see Jesus, what I see is a robed figure in the clouds. Weather it is an angel or our Lord Jesus Christ Himself I do not know but it does seem as if He is watching over us just like he said he would!!

11/22/99 - As i look at the picture i see an angle. the figure is very interesting. as
we all search for our thoughts i can assure you that we all have something in
common and we are all looking for that great day that our LORD and Master is
coming back for his elect that He chose from the beginning of the world. for

11/24/99 - Its an amazing picture! It looks like a 'heavenly' being floating on the
clouds and he is wearing a robe. If that is really a picture, I tell
you really looks like all the pictures of angels that I have seen. Is
it real! - There surely is a God somewhere!
11/29/99 - What I see is an angel...and I think that she is bringing a blessing to
someone today that may need it!!!!! *S*
1/19/01 - I've seen a picture that was published in a local newspaper several decades ago (probably at least 30-40 yrs ago) that was strikingly similar to this one. At first I thought it must be the same one, but the one in the paper here (in central Kentucky) was taken by a local resident while vacationing elsewhere. I have a copy of the newspaper print somewhere at home (the original was getting very worn from being shown so much, so the gentleman who owned it asked me to make a copy for him, so I made one to keep as well!). I honestly believe the image is God-sent, but I'm not sure what the image is to represent. Although one thing I have noticed about all three of the similar images: there is apparently no face showing. I think this may very possibly be an image from God of Himself, since He has told us in His Word that we as humans would not be able to stand to look upon His face. But no matter what it actually is, I think it is a wonderful and reassuring reminder that God's always there during the earthly storms and the storms in our lives! Thank you for allowing me to share. 2-2-01 I was looking up some pictures or interesting things to show the kids at church and came across this picture. It looks to me like an angel or even Jesus. I do not know what it is, but I have seen pictures before with unexplainable things, and God said He would speak to us in mysterious ways. If this picture is as old as you say it is and I believe the woman's story, then He is still using this picture to give His people encouragement. Karen
10/9/03 - Hi my name is Tim, My Aunt who is 96 years young, and is in her right mind has a picture almost similar to the one on the website. She said about forty years ago she and her cousin were at her cousins house. I'm not sure what she was talking about, but she talked about a loud bang or something to that effect. She told her cousin to grab a camera and that picture was what they got. My aunt would not lie about something like that and as I said she is in her right mind and lets me know when I miss coming to see her. Please get back to me on this. I will try to find out more from her about this picture, the exact place it was taken. I live in Cookeville Tennessee, but I cant say that's where the picture came from
Trace [Tennessee] Age: 16 - This is not a real picture someone added the picture of Jesus in hope to get famous if this were really Jesus every eye would have seen him.
Andre Andervine Serwin [California] Age: 16 - a very disturbing picture. a hair-raising picture of a real ghost in heaven.
Tychae [GA] Age: 16 - I know it's Jesus and I think he's trying to stop the tornado or storm.
Katie [Georga] Age: 13 - I believe it is GOD because in the Bible it talks about GOD being in a rob.
