Our Family Tree

Each relationship we have;
a treasure forever be.
Each life intertwined with ours;
a part of our family tree.
 

Each person we encounter
may have a family just the same,
but more often times than not
family is more than a name.

Some have many siblings
aunts and uncles galore;
generations of smiling faces
often living right next door

Some families are spread over a
great distance mere hugs are miles away.
They may rarely set eyes on each other
yet their love stands strong each day.

Some have families of friends or neighbors
groups that stick close together.
They too are strong with love and guidance
supporting through all rough weather.

I am so thankful every moment
for ALL my family ties.
The love we share between us each
will last throughout our lives.

Each time I think of family
a warm comfort comes to mind;
you are often in these thoughts;
such angels are hard to find.
